THE SMITH FAMILY
The Smith Family is a national charity helping young Australians in need to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. With 1 in 10 Australian children living in jobless families, life's basics are hard to come by, and children can fall behind with their learning, leaving them more vulnerable to experiencing hardship later in life.
Education is a driver of real and powerful change that can break the cycle of disadvantage, and The Smith Family are committed to helping children overcome obstacles to get the most from their education. The Smith Family help disadvantaged Australian children to stay in school and keep up with their peers through education-oriented learning and support programs. You can contribute to this through the Christmas or winter appeal, sponsoring a child, one-off or ongoing donations, volunteering, events and fundraising, clothing recycling, donating toys and books, corporate partnerships, and university partnerships.
