Did you know that back in May last year, a lift was installed at C-Square to make the upper floors more accessible? Patrons coming to the Arthouse Cinema, Civic Centre, and businesses on the upper floors now have an easier means of access – particularly the elderly, those with disabilities, and families with young children and prams.

With larger groups of people coming in and out at the same time from cinema sessions and events at the Civic Centre, the ability to accommodate larger amounts of foot traffic safely and comfortably was also important.

And given that there are several health services providers at C-Square, it was also a priority to ensure that everyone is able to get where they need to go, as easily as possible.

We hope that patrons are enjoying the convenience of the lift, and that it will continue to provide easy access to C-Square for many years to come.

If you are enjoying a coffee or the free WiFi in the courtyard, and someone seems to be looking for the way to the Civic Centre, please point them towards our lovely ‘Goldenrod’ lift!
