Get ready to dip your toes in or immerse yourself in the world of design and sustainable fashion though Sunshine Coast Council’s ‘fabric – Slow Fashion, Artful Living’ program.
The Sunshine Coast is home to a unique local textile and fashion industry that has a strong focus on conscious design, handmade and quality production. Taking inspiration from our local artisans, the fabric program brings art and sustainability together in a curated program of design and fashion inspired activities.
Explore the wonderful variety of presentations, workshops, author talks, professional development opportunities and hands on interactive experiences - presented by local and visiting industry professionals.
fabric provides an opportunity to be inspired, get informed or refine your skills in a program that covers everything from learning the essentials to participating in a bespoke masterclass.
See the C-Square Events page for a number of fabulous fashion-flavoured events, beginning tomorrow evening, April 24th, with a screening of 'River Blue' at Majestic Cinemas, with a discussion following. Switch Espresso will also be home to several events, including Fashion Fix It and Op Shop Style-Up Sessions!
